China Here We Come!

Stephen and I are on our way. We are all checked in for our flight and are now ready for hours and hours of sitting. Our flight takes off in two hours, and then we have a 15 1/2 hour flight to Shanghai.

We made sure to get in some good American food in the last couple of days before we left. Chick-fil-a and Cowboy Chicken were a must. Then this morning Brian and Jason took us to the airport and said goodbye. I wasn't too emotional about our goodbyes until I saw them both waving to us on the other side of security. Three weeks is a long time to be gone from my loved ones!!

I will have to say that keeping track of all of this baggage, paperwork for the adoption, and passports, etc. is stressing me out a bit. I tried to pack as lightly as possible, but we had to take gifts for different orphanage officials, and nannies, and we also decided to take a double stroller. The thought of keeping my two new little ones, and all of these bags together with just Stephen and myself, especially when getting on and off of high speed trains and such, is a bit daunting to me.

God is so good though, and He will see us safely though this process. Again please pray for us, and for Brian and Jason as they wait for us back at home.
